I threw myself into sailing in a big way, I went every week that I could to learn new skills and spend time on the water. I joined the Kent Schools Sailing Association (KSSA) and went to my first event on the sea, this was a little scary but a lot of fun at the same time, waves and tide certainly added another challenge!
Back to the lake to put into practice everything I learnt in my training on the sea
Time for a little more repair
Off to KSSA again for more teaching with my new group of friends and I joined IOCA and went to the beautiful Royal Corinthian Yacht Club. Wow was the tide strong, I learnt my boat could sail backwards!
